The city has an excellent education system. District 112 Community Education, established in 1972, serves Chaska, Victoria, Carver and East Union. There are eight district schools in Chaska - 4 elementary, 3 middle-schools, and 1 High School. Chaska High School is a 10th-12th grade public high school, located in Chaska, Minnesota. There are also five private schools to choose from - St. John’s Lutheran, Guardian Angels Catholic, Southwest Christian High School, Jonathan Montessori/World Learner, and Holy Family Catholic.

Recreational Facilities:

The Chaska Park and Recreation Department, an integral part of Chaska city government offers more than 200 recreational programs for people of all ages. The department is responsible for managing the Chaska Community Center, Clayhole swimming beach, park shelters and ball field scheduling. The leisure activities include arts, athletics and various special events. The department also operates city cable network and takes care of the communication needs in the city.

The City of Chaska has some great golf courses. Chaska Town course, which is owned and operated by the City of Chaska, is open to the public. Chaska Par 30 Executive and Bluff Creek Golf Course are other courses available for you in Chaska.
